Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The first power on made me nervous: I turned it on, the power went on, everything was spinning, but the monitor did not come to life, the keyboard too . Only the processor cooler fan either increased the speed, then decreased it. I had to wait a minute or even more, but then the coveted "peak" (connected an external speaker) and everything came to life, phew! Memory Crucial 2400 MHz exposed in 2666 - works. Above I will not succeed, tk. the stone is Athlon 200GE, but it is locked (ay-ay-ay, AMD, why do you need to take bad examples from bad guys?) For the very beginning of working with her, first impressions are very positive. Let's see how it will behave further. Launched various live systems. Those based on Win10 (Strelec, MultiBoot) run fine. Linux Mint 19 cinnamon gives a strange image in normal mode - splits the screen into 2 and no control, it's impossible to work, it only starts in safe mode. However, a custom build based on Mint 18.3 lin4dom 22.3.6-w32022-dxvk-k4 has started! Neptune5 (KDE plasma) runs great, the shell flies smoothly - nice to look at. Debian 9.3 custom XFCE - up and running. Happy using everyone!

Pros
  • Price / quality - very good performance: no stains or streaks on the textolite, all elements are soldered evenly and clearly, no stench either out of the box or during operation.
Cons
  • It is precisely what has not yet been revealed that its characteristics are directly dependent on its cost. If you want more - pay more, but for other models. Well, except that the radiator on the chipset is small, but it heats up very well - it doesn’t hold a finger, hwinfo usually shows +52 degrees, though it hasn’t risen much higher yet. But I didn’t have time to load it properly - the usual work: installing any OS, programs, watching videos on youtube, etc. You can also note the misunderstandings with the drivers: I downloaded from the Gigabyte website and installed the necessary drivers for the chipset, and the "standard SATA AHCI controller" still hangs in the device manager. Weird. But everything works! Of the features - insidious BIOS. The insidiousness of the BIOS is that this graphical shell creates a deceptive impression that everything is turned on with the mouse. Not! And not the Enter key. To set other memory frequencies, for example, you need to press the + and - keys on the keyboard. You can use PgUp and PgDown. This also applies to many other parameters. And there is no hint about it! So don't be fooled by the beautiful mouse cursor - use only the keyboard!

Different pros: Design, cooling, capacitors, micro atx, M2 Got cons: you must immediately ate the BIOS to F50 or higher, otherwise the PC will boot up for almost 3 minutes
