Review on HATCHBOX 3D Filament: Unsurpassed Dimensional Accuracy for Additive Manufacturing by Darin Marshall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

has a great finish, fits the stated diameter (I will check.

Surprised by the negative reviews on this PLA. I use the hatchbox EXCLUSIVELY and have been doing this for 2 years. I print cosplay props and armor parts for this thing in this price range are NOT. After trying many brands, I decided on Hatch a long time ago. At the same time, I can use up to 4-6 Hatchbox coils per week. Both at 1.75 and at 1 .75 3.0mm in diameter (I have 2 Creality CR-10 and Lulzbot Taz 6) Consider me lucky but I've never had a spool tangle but I can see this happening with every manufacturer brittle or ugly prints you have to adapt your profile if that happens i can print a helmet with 40% filling and throw it through the magazine without damage thighs, boots everything is ausve Dropped by a table or two. thighs from 6 ft. again without damage annealing in ling oven. This PLA is durable, has a great finish, fits the advertised diameter (I check with calipers) and doesn't warp like others I've tried. Parts survived shipping from the US to France! I mainly use silver, gray and black. No, I am not a paid reviewer. I was actually about to order 6 rolls when I saw a rather negative review of this material and thought "bullshit". If you're thinking about getting some, do it.
