I have pelvic pain due to torn ligaments and other issues. Sitting hurts most of the time, but standing hurts too. In short, I spend most of the day in discomfort. This chair has become a real find for me. The time I spend in it is really the only time I feel comfortable most of the day. The backrest of the chair offers a secure hold. The seat is firm enough to be comfortable and not go flat over time (a real problem with plush seats). The twist is easy and smooth. The armrests are also comfortable. It's easy to see that a chair isn't ergonomic when you're healthy and everything is working fine. However, if you're in pain, you'll feel every design flaw. So when I tell you that this really is an ergonomic chair, you can believe it. I deducted one star because the height of the armrests is not adjustable and the armrests are at a height that touches most tables. So I have to raise my hands all the way to use my desk. Aside from that small issue, the chair is excellent.
