Good stainless steel with a useful margin for flexibility. The large sizes are quite long but I don't know what I use them for. Using the smaller of the three to apply sealant will get the grips dirty. I use a razor blade to clean the blades, but very thin plastic handles cannot be cleaned. If you think you're going to get dirty, opt for the slightly more expensive wooden-handled version.
