Let's be honest. I've watched ALL the videos of polygel nail kits that are on youtube. I had a really great feeling about this adventure and what I've learned from people's mistakes. I had a really good feeling about this Beetle kit and was ready for a night of girltime. Okay, I set up my little station, chose the nail shapes and set up my little light. By the way, the kit is very nicely packaged, the goods looked good, the light was a bit crappy, but everything looked high quality and "professional". The polygel itself was very sticky, so using alcohol worked perfectly. BUT too much alcohol made it too wet and it stayed. After about 45 minutes I did the left hand. I was impressed! It turned out like in the video. My nails definitely needed some shaping, but overall they looked good. Then I started submitting. THEY ARE ALL BROKEN! As you can see in my photo they came off leaving a mess! By this point I've been over an hour and my nails hurt! I cut them all off and went to the nail salon. At $37.99 this set is worth $40 at a nail salon, please have it done professionally. Use the time in your chair to escape from everyday stress. Doing it at home was a nightmare. I hope you're listening girl. because no one could talk me out of buying this kit <3
