I have a very strange wastebasket in my kitchen. It is short but round and widens towards the top. I use market disposable bags (which they charge for 10 cents so they are thicker) for the outer liner and then put that liner in and replace it every day. I used to use the big grocery bags I got from my local supermarket but they ran out so I bought these. Unfortunately, they are thinner than standard bags. Also, I should have taken a little longer because the weight of the debris falling in just pulls the bag down. I wish I could return these.
