9 Months for Vehicle Safety

Installed on a '06 Silverado with a sleek new tailgate latch bezel. Unfortunately, as said above, all I can remember is running wire through such a tight space in the tailgate, using a wire harness and lots of tape to make this the cleanest setup imaginable. It takes a lot longer than a normal plug and play connection...the last 2 weeks I noticed that the camera wouldn't turn on when it was very humid after heavy rain. The sun comes out, dries things up, and boom, it works out of nowhere. Well it's pretty much dead already. I highly doubt these are the connectors on the camera as everything was heat shrunk and taped and re-taped with extra harness protection. I will study and report the reason and possible bend. Update 10/21: It's been very dry lately and the camera mysteriously started working for a day. It won't be the next day. So I'm going to go back and check all of my cables as this is necessary when connecting to trailers on a daily basis...
