I ordered a Yellow Eagle jerry can marked for diesel and it's fantastic although I use it for petrol instead of diesel because of the liner. No rust and I expect it to last for years. Two green ones in a row were rusty right out of the box under the handle. The first one was rusty as was the replacement I ordered from amazon.com. If it's so rusty on the outside, how does it look on the inside? What pollutants end up in the fuel tank when the inner lining is just as bad as the outer lining? It might just be cosmetic, but even if it is, it still leaves rust on my hand. It seems obnoxious and sharp to the touch. Without external coating, the life expectancy of the can is reduced. No problem with yellow. Buy this version instead.
