Doesn't work for my TV.
My television and Blu-ray player are the same age and from the same brand (Samsung), but the adapter does not fit the television. I did some troubleshooting and it turned out that my TV was the culprit. Next time I buy a TV I will check all the connections. The headphones I plugged into the Blu-ray worked well and the audio was clear with no static. This connector looks solid and well made, but only time will tell.
