Item did not work properly. It takes a little while for the far corners in the door to be accessible and freed from them. When I installed it correctly, the mechanism would not disengage when the cable was pulled to open the door latch. Because of this I couldn't close the door. I took it out and compared it to the old one - I could get it to work by hand in my hand but it would fail about every 5th time. If it is broken when installed, you will have to dismantle and remove the door. So I got no benefit from it - less than no value really because it took about 3 hours of my time. And I have no more order information to return it. If yes, please send to me. I put the original back in because it was still sporadic.
