Poorly designed game for the myopic

This game was purchased to replace a worn out old Yahtzee portable game. And obviously this one was designed to be LESS user friendly. I look at the old and the new side by side and it's clear that in this new version all the labels/labels on the buttons and controls are smaller and harder to read. For no apparent reason. Also, there is no way to turn it off. There is an "on" button, but once activated, that button is used to advance the game. So you can't turn it off. My guess is that you should just put it aside when you're done playing and if the battery dies for a while it will turn itself off. At least that's my guess. The word "off" doesn't appear anywhere on the device or in the instructions, so I don't think they ever gave it any meaning. Oops. Now for the battery: the older portable version uses a single AAA battery, a common size that's widely available and that most people have in the home. This new version uses a lithium button cell. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver to get to it when it needs to be replaced. With the older version, part of the rear wall simply snaps off. And to figure out what battery is needed, you'll either need to get that screwdriver and pop open the back, or get a magnifying glass, since unlike the rest of the guide, this information is written with a mouse. seems like a strange exercise in not designing a product. Very disappointing.
