Cons: Pretty weak. No sizing guide - although sizing is fairly easy, take your time and use a good thermometer to check the water temperature if you pay attention to how the pieces line up. One of them failed after only a few years. (Although the first lasted fifteen years). Pros: The first lasted fifteen years. Easy to replace. Inexpensive. They still make that part, which is good because the rest of the valve should last over 50 years. I wouldn't want to rip open the wall because the easy-to-replace plastic part was no longer available.
