I bought a car and the original license plate light doesn't work. I searched Revain for OEM replacement parts and found this product instead. After the installation I was shocked. The light was so bright and pleasing that I found these knots to be much better than the original parts. Comes with two license plate assemblies. The packaging is a simple box in which each assembly is individually wrapped. There are no lightbulbs in the assembly as they are LEDs. Each assembly has a short wiring harness with a connector that goes into the lamp socket. This mounting design is better because the lamp sockets in my car showed signs of being exposed to the high heat of the lamps. With this LED design, there should be no problem with excessive heat. LED assemblies easily fit in the car opening. It is important to ensure that the license plate wire harness and LED light wire harness assembly are tucked away to the side so the assembly can be slid into place. It's easy to think that LED assemblies have been fully installed when they haven't. I really like this product and I recommend it. I was not paid for this review, nor did I receive this product as a gift. Update: During the recent heavy rain and rush hour I was driving side by side with another Cadillac CTS with original license plate lights. I noticed that the cars behind the car were constantly driving too close together to prevent a possible car crash. On the other hand, I found that the cars behind my car kept a safe distance even with limited visibility due to rain. I'm sure the brighter lights on this product helped make my car more visible than other CTS's. I am very glad I bought these light assemblies.
