Well made and much more comfortable to work with than other branded foods I've used over the years.
They are well made and polished. they are actually selma fids, also called ronstan. They are much easier to use than Samson or NER feeds. They make splicing high-tech cords like Dyneema or Technora much more comfortable. Well-polished tips prevent fraying or tearing of fibers during use. Combined with a D-shaped splicer, or even a bent piece of crab trap or locking wire, it shouldn't make any connections you couldn't make in a high-tech line.
