Type of review

They are well made and polished. they are actually selma fids, also called ronstan. They are much easier to use than Samson or NER feeds. They make splicing high-tech cords like Dyneema or Technora much more comfortable. Well-polished tips prevent fraying or tearing of fibers during use. Combined with a D-shaped splicer, or even a bent piece of crab trap or locking wire, it shouldn't make any connections you couldn't make in a high-tech line.

Expensive. and two large profit set feeds "squeezed together ".

Upon arrival, two large feeds were hopelessly squeezed together. Would have come back then and there if I didn't need the others from the set back then. The solution was to "freeze" the internal stuck chip with compressed air. inverted to spray liquid, slightly "reducing" its outside diameter for a second. Even after that, it took several hard hits on a piece of wood to loosen it. Luckily no damage is visible. Also, the price of this set is way overpriced in my opinion. For what it is it would…
