Notebook is fine but the elastic has come loose after a few uses. It looks like they used some kind of cheap glue to secure the ends in the holes. I tested the strap on the new one and it seems durable and comfortable so I'm changing my rating from 3 to 5* because it's a good notebook to carry around for sketching and designing. The paper works well with Micron pens, fountain pens, and graphite pencils (paper has a smooth texture so most graphite tips may require more prongs in the paper to get darker shades if you're not on the dark side of graphite).
