I was frantically practicing getting the solder to flow with one of another fake's 1/4" chisel tips. I tried soldering 22 AWG wire to the LED strip's pads and the solder just wouldn't flow. The tip has been changed to 0.12m Hakko, and JOY! The solder flows perfectly, melts almost instantly and I even turned my machine off from 325 to 315Β°C. I have a cheaper copier soldering station and I feel very different using this Hakko tip than if I tried using a cheap soldering station. - counterfeit brands. Do yourself a favor and NEVER, EVER buy these frustratingly inferior imitations. They just don't heat well. If you don't believe me, just buy ONE Hakko (or Weller, etc.) and see for yourself. You'll never go back to fakes.
