I didn't know this yarn brand. I've found that even with a description, it's difficult to know the true weight of the yarn until you see it. It's definitely very good, I would call it a thread. After working with him for a while, I agree that he is easy and gentle to work with. I use a size D needle (3.25mm) and the yarn breaks quite often but returns to its place immediately. You can tell it's high quality. I have rough hands and my biggest problem, besides tearing, is usually the yarn getting caught on the skin of my hands. This yarn doesn't! I ordered pink for a winter scarf and I would call it winter pink it's the perfect colour, just what I wanted. I wouldn't say it's grayer than the pastel, just a deeper, mid-pink. The yarn looks almost like suede and has weight. Not sure I'd order this again for what I'm doing with it, but I'll definitely check out my other Gazzal yarn options. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I wanted something lighter.
