Review on Dorman 902 219 Radiator Fan Resistor by Jerry Delic

Wife's car overheated when stopped in traffic, finally chasing her down to this detail. The fans weren't working properly. I don't know how long this part was broken, when I took it off the metal cage was completely corroded and one of the terminals in the connector was literally burned out. I prayed that was the only problem with the fans as the other alternative, the cylinder head temp sensor, is very difficult to get behind the alternator. I connected the cables which was a pain because the ford had very little play, everything connected and bingo, the fans worked fine. That's five stars in my book!
