Review on Bubble Magus BM Curve Protein Skimmer by Popeye Knight

Two weeks have passed and it's still working. I know that the water level needs to be adjusted and run in. IM working on it. But my last two skimmers were quickly ready for use. This one is just annoying. I'll let you know in a week with additional updates. Update: 10/8/2017. It's finally cracked and works great. Remember that the Min and Max settings apply to the water level. The closer to the minimum (Min), the lower the water level, the closer to the maximum, the higher the water level. The key to this skimmer is patience to build up the slime and set the right water level. Once you get it right, IT ROCKUpdated 3/11/2017 This thing slides like crazy. Works perfectly. By far the best skimmer for the money I've used in years. Next update in six months with photos. Update 1/16/2018 I took it apart and cleaned everything because the main chamber got quite dirty. Took it apart so easily and I was able to clean everything, then reassemble (easy), put back in the pan, took a few days to stabilize I thought. Now he's working like a champ again. Fantastic Skimmer Update: February 15, 2018 Works like a champ. I wanted to buy some parts and the customer service/feedback is disgusting. But the skimmer still works. Updated 3/14/2018 I have tried contacting support for details. To be honest I love the skimmer but I will never buy a Bubble Magus again. Their US customer support is virtually non-existent. I tried to email them 3 times with no response. It really makes me angry. So my next skimmer will be another reef octopus.
