They can get a little messy when using them - make sure you have a handy paper towel have and that you activate them over the sink or something! The colors are lovely and more brilliant than the shimmer of Stella's glitter brushes. While Wink Stella colors typically use the same color of glitter as the ink itself (pink highlighters have a matching pink glitter, blue highlighter, blue glitter, etc.), they have a more silvery, lustrous sheen. The colors are quite far from the colors shown on the packaging. I was hoping for lighter pastel colors. They are much brighter and richer than what is portrayed. Although they are still beautiful! They flow smoothly and the only time I had any issues with overflowing or leaking was when I first activated them. I'm sure it was my own impatience.
