Could be great - a glaring problem!

This would be a great purchase, except for one glaring issue: the sink flange where water drains from the sink sticks out about 1/8 inch so the sink never completely drains. brushed stainless steel on a plastic core so the rim cannot sit flush with the sink surface like any other flange from all sink and tub manufacturers Slowly evaporates leaving mineral deposits which build up and adhere to the surface of the bowl. Over time, this buildup can ruin the sink, especially in rental properties where maintenance may not be the same as in a home. a hygiene issue if you are not careful to flush all the dirt and debris down the drain, leaving only clean water in the sink. In any event, this is a "BAD DESIGN" and should be corrected and the correct flanges sent to anyone who purchased these faucets prior to the redesign. Another potential problem over time is the plastic water mixing compartment. They are usually made from cast brass and are of fairly solid construction. Since durability can only be checked over the life of the crane, it is not known how long this part will remain in service. As for the rest of the product, the packaging is impressive, you get spare caps for hot and cold access to the screws and an Allen key if you need to tug on the handle. Each unit also comes with a full roll of Teflon tape to use for other DIY projects. They include a pair of white cotton gloves for a clean install, and the faucet comes in a handy reusable cloth pouch! I can live without gloves, bags and extra tape if they fix the flange issue. Because it's such a common product, a flange design that's trying to save money by pressing stainless material against plastic instead of shipping a one-piece stainless steel flange should be a "BREAKING DEAL" for anyone looking to put their bathroom faucet through a want to replace any model of this manufacturer. . Until they change the design of their flanges, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OR OTHER MIXERS IN YOUR LINE.
