Review on 🔊 High Performance 1 Inch Tweeter Horn Driver – 200 Watt Power Car Audio Speaker System with Flat Aluminum Voice Coil, Titanium Diaphragm, Wide Frequency Range, and Heavy Duty Magnet – Pyle PDS111 by Jason Spainhour

Sound is smooth, band happy again. Replaced blown drivers in a pair of Pyle Pro speakers. The originals were apparently irreplaceable. They are the right size at an amazing price and bolt onto existing horns. They're more efficient (louder) than the originals and the overall sound was jarring at first, so I measured each box's frequency response outdoors. I have equipment for that. In the end, a 22 ohm, 50 watt resistor in series with each driver reduced the driver's output power just enough that the overall package response was reasonably flat. Adding a resistor in series isn't the "right" way, but measuring and listening gives a thumbs up. I actually tried a few resistors to lower the tweeter output while driving the correct 8 ohms into the crossover network but couldn't hear or measure a difference. So, single resistors are what I installed. Solid state power amplifiers don't care. So I would rate these drivers as a complete success.
