Review on Max-Air MA812 Air Shock Absorber by Monroe Shocks & Struts by Jake Solorzano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

In the photo the shock absorber is NOT ma812.

Don't buy these shocks by the picture! Shocks shown are NOT MA812. I did my homework on Monroe's website, which describes the lengths both unfolded and folded, as well as what type of ends it has. The MA812 has two rubber bushing end loops sized to accept the metal bushings on your previous shocks. If you have the default app (I don't) you can let the app search pick your hits, just know what you're getting because the picture is wrong!

Pros
  • EASY TO ADJUST – Special air fitting prevents air leaks and connects to factory system (if applicable) or inflates manually with an air compressor; paired with Monroe Air Spring Accessories and AK Air Spring Hose Kits (depending on application)
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish
