I have a 125cc gy6 engine. See where part of the spark plug boot rubber is pinched. There's an unseen reason why the socket that the spark plug goes in gets so hot that the thing could snap off. Or maybe from the owner before. I used a common lubricant on the drill and tap to catch the shavings. I also always make small movements to catch the chips and keep the center on the hole. I was worried the drill would grab and gouge the hole and make things worse. It worked without any hassles or problems. I didn't succeed in breaking off the shaft so that it wouldn't get stuck inside. However, I put the spark plug in and ignited it. I drove 500km and it still works fine.
