Review on 🔌 Airtex E8090: The Ultimate Universal Solid State In-Line Electric Fuel Pump by Jonathan Yang

I bought this pump to use as an auxiliary pump on my '79 Ford F-350 with two gas tanks and a 460 engine With the gas available today this truck sometimes had problems on hot days when it towing a trailer, he ran out of fuel due to heat/vapor lock. I've tried replacing the fuel pump, insulating the lines etc but nothing solved the problem so I've now fitted this pump to the back of the truck to constantly create positive pressure in the lines of the main engine mounted pump. It's quiet and fills up quickly when changing tanks, so now all I need is a really hot day to try it out. This pump worked well for about a year before its performance dropped significantly, especially in the heat. I liked how it fit into my setup so I ordered another one with the same part number. The new pump has a completely different design and is a rotary pump instead of an impulse pump. Seems to be quiet and pumps a lot of fuel. I hope this pump will last more than a year.
