Our 17 year old pug lost his footing on our wooden floors and we didn't want to put carpets. We only received the socks today and put them on him without protest. We put him on a wooden floor and he immediately started walking and not adapting to them at all. Now it runs with no problems. It's good that the sticky materials are on either side in case they're flipped, but they're pretty much immobile. Washable yet to be seen but they are pretty secure with little straps. He only needs them on his hind legs, so we have an extra pair. Definitely worth giving it some stability.
