I love the apple peeler. It takes a few tries to find the right setting for the knife itself, but it's only a few apples so I didn't really care. My whole family loved the way he spiraled the apple and removed the core so cleanly. I made the mistake of using a softer apple (red in the photo) so the apple had to be cut up a bit along with the skin. The instructions said not to use the softer ones, so I'll admit it was my fault. Much easier and quicker than trying to cut, peel and core an apple yourself. It will come in handy at home with children who love apples. It arrived almost intact, I expected to have to assemble it myself. So that was a big surprise and excitement for me as it meant I could use it before. All I had to do was attach the handle part and I was able to do it myself in just a minute or two. It even arrived earlier than expected which was great too!
