Review on Enhance Performance with Proform 66668 Black Aluminum Differential Cover: Perfect Launch Logo & Bearing Cap Stabilizer Bolts for GM by James Edwards

Excellent design, price and quality, except for the color. I barely scratched the paint with my nut when I tightened one of the screws and the paint chipped. I took the lid off, sealed the "Perfect Launch" embossing with tape, sandblasted, painted POR 15 and reinstalled. Looks great! Still worth the price and I would buy it again. The manufacturer only has to fix the paintwork problem so you don't have to fix it yourself. I also torqued ten cap screws to 25 lbs with blue Loctite, two bearing reinforcement screws to 10 lbs, and two bearing reinforcement locknuts to 10 lbs with blue Loctite.
