Okay, dried mealworms sound terrible. I live in the Carlisle-Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania and two years ago we discovered that a bird bath heater resulted in literally over 10 bluebirds around our bird bath on very, very cold days. I ordered 5 pounds of dried mealworms last year and ended up having thrushes in my garden on a regular basis. This year I went insane and ordered this packet of mealworms. Eleven pounds doesn't seem like much until it's delivered, and it's about the same size as a 50-pound sack of sunflower seeds. Every day I get thrushes, house finches, Caroline wreaths and the occasional starling. Every day I have a measuring cup full of mealworms ready. The birds love it and I expect to have dried mealworms by March. I will never eat dried mealworms, but this product is made with whole mealworms, not pieces. Our birds love them.
