Thought I'd save money and buy budget bits. Crash on first use. Literally cutting something for the first time. He didn't even pass the first test. Very what you pay for. I tested 3/4 poplar wood before cutting my real rails. He kicked and ripped a chunk out of my router table railing. First I cut the crossbars, everything went fine, but this piece didn't go through the first board. For what it's worth I checked the fit of the section that cuts into the bar and it was a little loose so I wouldn't be happy with it even if the bit hadn't failed.
