Block exchange is also bad

rubbish! I have to restart this router several times a day. Tech support finally sent me a new replacement; I hope it's not too bad. I will change my stars if all goes well. Sorry I missed the Revain returns window. *UPDATE* 10/18/2017 So, I've had a new replacement shipped direct from Linksys for about seven days now. Everything worked fine then; no reboots required. NOW, all of a sudden, about two days ago, I slowly started losing internet access. First, let me say that I only subscribe to the Internet, not cable TV. My television viewing actually takes place over the Internet. About two days ago I had no internet access on my iPhone. BUT, could still watch TV shows. Rebooting (powering off) the router will bring the internet back. The same goes for all other home users; No internet on phones or laptops until router reboots. It's getting worse. When I woke up this morning I had no internet and had to reboot. I've just done the same now; it's four hours later. My modem lights are fine. However, I plugged in my laptop directly and was able to access the internet. The problem is getting it through the router even if I connect directly to the router = no internet. Until I reboot the router. This product is a piece of junk. Now I have to spend another $100 on someone else's product. I know Linksys is monitoring these messages, so I have a few questions for you; 1. I had to pay the postage to send back the first failed router. Do you think it's fair if I haven't even had a full 45 days? Is this your example of supporting your product? 2. Do you think I have a few hours to call your tech support team? And what will become of it? Would you suggest I send a third router just so I can pay to return the second one? 3. Do you think I can afford to throw away about $130? These are financial difficulties. Support your product! What will you do now?

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • poorly thought out
