Review on Accurate and Convenient: EASYTOO Universal Magnetic Wheel Alignment Tool for Car/Truck Camber/Castor Strut by Sean Bond

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a suitable substitute for true alignment, but great for approximate numbers in the garage.

This worked well for me to get a ballpark fall for my car. I have a Subaru BRZ that I lowered with height adjustable coilovers and I wanted to make sure the side to side camber is flat enough that I have a pretty good idea of where it sits before proceeding with the alignment. I've read in other reviews that such tools cannot be used to measure a car's actual camber, they are only intended to be used to retune the suspension using the factory settings as the "zero point". This is not what I experienced when I used a flat vertical surface to "zero" the instrument and then I could tell I was about -4.25 degrees in front and about -3.75 degrees in the back, which was about what I expected. I'll have to see how accurate it is after doing the alignment, but it showed me to be pretty consistent from side to side, which is what I wanted. The tool is pretty easy to use. The bubble was quite small at first and I was worried it wouldn't work, but after a few days I checked the tool and found a nice visible bubble. My only complaint is the lack of a good bladder right off the bat. The magnet is nice and strong and sticks very well to the brake discs.
