Does not replace professional workbench/machine alignment. But with a little knowledge/research it's enough to get the project going. It also helps to get an approximate number, especially when modifying the suspension or fitting a new wheel/tyre. So actually a useful tool, just not the ultimate solution.

You cannot align wheels or measure camber with this tool. It is to be redone. Before replacing anything like a strut, attach the tool to the brake disc or drum. Zero the bubble. Be sure to use the eyelet to tighten the rotor or drum as removing the wheel will leave some of them loose. Remove the alignment tool until you have reinstalled the stand. Calibrating this tool to a known dead plane will likely give you a reasonable camber setting. However, I don't have any accurate alignment tools other than a $3 spirit level, which I just don't trust due to the accuracy required to check alignment.
