The product has an adjustment knob and works. But there's no way to put it on a deliberately flat surface, as both the magnet and the adjustment knob itself interfere. So you can't check if it's calibrated correctly. Of course, even if you did manage to reset it, the readings from the tests I've run so far are too inconsistent to rely on. I put it on the rotor and rotated it to align with the little bubble, I got a reading of 0.5 negative camber, I took it off and checked again, I got a reading of 1 positive. You can work with it for a long time and get unreliable and inconsistent results. The instructions are useless and show a complete lack of understanding of this tool and process. After figuring out how to calibrate without instructions, he's easily thrown out of calibration since the adjustment screw doesn't have a lock nut. Once you calibrate it, it responds slowly and inconsistently. FYI I do alignments with the rotors bolted on and the rotor sitting at planting height on top of stacked wood with 2 polyester cutting boards (with silicone sprayed in between) in between. Wood.
