I bought this coffee maker a few months ago and I use it daily! It is well preserved and very easy to use. I have washed and air dried so not sure if it will hold up well in the dishwasher. The glass carafe is lowered into a metal stand with a handle, making all parts a pleasure to wash. However, the top edge of the metal is really sharp and I've cut myself on it a few times, not much, just paper cut like slits. Otherwise I have no complaints. All I know is that I have to be careful when washing.
