I've been buying Sketchers for years because I love the gel insoles, the design and the comfortable fit. I usually have to wear shoes for a few days to break them in before they become really comfortable. Just not these shoes. As soon as I put them on and got up I noticed how comfortable they are. I particularly like the tire-like outsole design. I understand why they put the Goodyear logo on it. It seems to be a very well made shoe that should last me for many years, just like my previous sketchers. I clean and coat my shoes with Bailey's Black Leather Care once a season (about every 4 months) and they almost always last until the foam on the sole wears out or the foam on the sole starts to come loose, usually by the second year . Rubber soles should last longer than leather uppers. They feel they will. We will see.
