The screws are rubbish but the mechanism works and the strut is solid

The screws that come with the kit are rubbish; I ripped two off during installation and had to bend and twist them. The fact that they broke up so easily is just pathetic. They also wouldn't screw into the wooden frame I was using them on, which meant I had to rush to Low to try and find some wood to screw them in and create some extra height. I made a point of never going to Lou's because the staff sucks, so I'm only giving one star for this brain-killing interaction. - I can't do the frame repair now), but what should have taken 20 minutes ended up taking 3 hours. Still cheaper than a new sofa bed, but it wasn't an optimal experience. I also had to make holes in the fabric covering the frame of the sofa because otherwise the legs wouldn't hold up (needs to be assembled upside down). However, now everything is fine if the legs stick to real wood. Overall impression: 2.5/10. I'd rather just fix the frame, but I don't have room for that at the moment.
