I wish I had discovered this absolutely clever corner tensioner a few years ago. This would save me a lot of time shaping the crown and gluing beveled corners in all woodworking scenarios. It's so simple, it's just awesome. Of course, when shaping the crown you don't just have to focus on the miter joint and closing any gaps, but additionally having a few curves in the profile cut of the crown, since the thing only has two very small contact points, you can attach it to any curved crown surface , which makes sense. The most logical place to attach them is of course in the crown contour indentations so you leave absolutely no marks on the finished crown. WOW. i love it very much I also use this for flat products to make the outside corners of baseboards and door jambs without leaving marks or marks on the surface in these applications. so that the miter will rest against each other while the wood glue cures. Now I will order extra springs to speed up connecting multiple corners at once. Although I haven't tried it, I suspect you can also make picture frames with tape clips.
