I've had the NWR04B wireless router for about 1 year now and have never had a problem with it. OK, 1 problem. Port forwarding does not always work correctly. But experience has shown that this is a problem with many routers. I also bought my router for $20 at a bulk sale. I don't know why some people say the signal strength is bad. God I can use this thing in the middle of the block, and the 20-something apartments in my building are always bleeding my internet. Here are a few things I've noticed: The faster your internet connection, the better your wireless connection. I used to offer the LITE service from my ISP and never had connection problems in my apartment. I allowed my neighbor to also connect to the wireless network at this point, but he could only access it directly through the window closest to the box. However, I upgraded my internet service to the fastest they have and now I can use this kid throughout the three story complex. something else to consider. Someone mentioned that their box is overheating, it's true - my router got very hot. But I had a spare DC adapter lying around for the same voltage. and now there are no problems with overheating.
