For my new SLIP pillowcase
I bought a SLIP pillowcase and "washed" it at the same time. They were packed in a box, both made out of their own plastic. The "laundry" had a protective lid under the lid and didn't spill into the box like others have said. I hand washed my new pillowcase and hung it to dry. I wanted to be extra careful as this was my first purchase of a silk pillowcase. I didn't notice the smell.
- Take care - the better you take care of your pillowcase, the better it will take care of you! If you want to maximize the life of your pillowcase, hand washing is the way to go.
