Poor rating due to poor packaging. Back immediately. Bottle cap is open on arrival and soap is all over the inside of the package. I thought it was a delivery from Slip itself; it is not. From Fortress Brand. It's my fault I didn't see it.

Discontinued in shipment. It leaked so much it covered the outside of the envelope a bit! As soon as the lid was screwed on, the foil broke, so the result was a mess. But I had an urgent need, so I've already used it with good results. The smell is light and pleasant, it seems to disappear as the item dries.

I bought a SLIP pillowcase and "washed" it at the same time. They were packed in a box, both made out of their own plastic. The "laundry" had a protective lid under the lid and didn't spill into the box like others have said. I hand washed my new pillowcase and hung it to dry. I wanted to be extra careful as this was my first purchase of a silk pillowcase. I didn't notice the smell.
