When it comes to golf I have a compulsive need for clean balls and clean clubs so of course I have a club brush and this little gem. Unlike others, I wouldn't care if my back pocket got a little wet. What matters is a clean ball. I keep a water bottle in my pocket just to keep my ball wet, and I mean wet, not just wet. I have a small problem that has cropped up lately. Colored golf balls with a matte finish are more difficult to clean. The ball doesn't spin as easily when you try to stretch it, and it comes out of the pocket with no difficulty. I think if they made it a little bigger it would work better with frosted balls. I know there have been a lot of people I've played with who came home and ordered one of these after they borrowed mine on the green to clear their ball.
