Adapter works great! I get consistently high speeds and it's really nice to be able to connect my USB devices to it. It works so well I threw away my other one. I have a gig of internet and get full speed on my computer (via Lightningbolt 3 port). It also works when connected to my phone (Samsung Note 8) and my wife's computer (Lightningbolt 2 maybe?). The material is good making it strong and durable but it also doesn't make it very flexible. If your adapter gets stuck in tight spaces or bends badly, be careful as it could eventually break. Because of this, it might not be the best for travel if you can't be sure not to bend it. If you can take care of it, I'm sure it will last a long time. Overall it's great and I'll probably buy another one from here soon. I would give him 4.45. My only suggestion to the product developer would be (if possible) to include a USB-C port in addition to the others so my laptop can also charge and ethernet using the same port as Lightningbolt3. This may not be possible or may affect the incoming signal.
