Works damn well. I was concerned about how the aluminum spool gun would perform, but it's actually pretty easy to use and very efficient at acceleration and works with aluminum. You need to find a sweet spot for this gun as it either burns to the ground where the wire actually melts at the contact tip causing it to stick, but once you find balance it can roll out a dime. I wouldn't recommend if you're trying to use this on small sites. For small projects anything below 3/32 probably won't work as this gun likes to burn a bit hotter around 20-22v leaving that around 1/32 four. in the size of the weld, so not very efficient for making those precise small TIG welds.
