I've tried steam mops, polishers, floor cleaners, whatever and nothing has worked on my laminate. I just got the Shark Steamer back, which essentially made things worse. It left a powdery substance on the floor and all I used was distilled water as instructed. I received my Bona polisher last night. I checked one area and came back an hour later and it was still shiny. 24 hours later and it still looks great. The trick is to stay away from it so it can dry sufficiently. No footprints or markings of animals or family members are visible. Best money spent after spending a ton on useless cleaners and mops.
