I bought 2 of these based on product images and marketing materials: they are really misleading. First, it's advertised as "black" but it's light gray. All right, that's fine. Second and foremost, it is advertised as "3 layers polypropylene spunbonded nonwoven + 1 layer waterproof PE film + 1 layer UV stabilizerโ with graphics showing 5 layers. DO NOT be fooled into thinking this is no more than a single coat of SUPER THIN automotive paint. Yeah I know it's not a $200-$600 car cover with felt lining and all. I'm used to buying $20-$30 single-ply gray Budge car covers at Wal-Mart that look exactly the same. I was disappointed to learn that this car cover is inferior to Budge car covers. This cover is so thin I can actually see through it and see my car's red paint (which I couldn't see on the cheap Budge car cover). The main reason I buy car covers is for the UV protection and if I can see my car through it then it probably won't do much. Finally, it has huge velcro straps on each corner of the car, which I'll probably cut off at the end because they can easily scratch the car. These straps are each about 2 feet long. The cover probably won't last long, but I'll update it once it starts falling apart.
