Review on Exploring Nature Sustainably with the Mountainsmith Falcon Recycled Terrain Backpack by Kara Hans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value - great backpack

Bought this for my boyfriend to take him on his first "climbing trip" (traveler) in Central America. I used to have a Mountainsmith and loved them so I bought them at a bargain price of about $90 and bought myself a Juniper 55. Both bags were great. It fitted well, accommodating him at 6ft 5in with about an inch or so of room for expansion. He liked its fit and balance, and I envied its shoulder and waist straps, which were padded without being bulky or bulky. (I may change mine when I head to Asia in August - don't speak for me!) Also, the removable lid is a great size for a day trip, although not great for filling with water. The sleeping bag seems to have room to adjust to different sized bags, but we didn't try to use that space on our own. Also, the hidden small side zip was handy for quick access to things but useless for retrieving/putting down large items. However, few bags have this, so it's definitely an added convenience. Sturdy and well made, ergonomically designed and with plenty of mounts for everything you need. Definitely used the outer mesh pocket for traveling with wet clothes that we didn't want moldy. Definitely recommend this backpack to everyone! it is necessary.)
