Review on Bernat 16418686002 Baby Velvet Restful by Summer Hendricks

I bought this for a project for my nephew that is coming soon. The color was slightly off, but that could just be my visual perception or the color quality of my monitor. I was expecting it to be more blue but it was more purple. I don't mind. "It was delightfully soft, more than I expected, I loved it. Thickness was good, about what I expected. Problem is, I never had to use it. I tried working with him for two weeks and I never did more than two rows. I spend most of my time unraveling it. Tangled yarn isn't a new problem for knitters, but it was the tangled yarn I've ever tried and the ONLY tangled yarn I've ever been unable to untangle. It was clearly a factory weaving mill. Each time the strand was pulled out, a tangle would form that took me hours to untangle to get a few stitches before the next tangle. It was bad enough that I had to order a different yarn for my project, which turned out beautifully. Now this sweet, soft baby velvet yarn, which is beautiful and would make a lovely cocoon for a baby, is lying in a tangled heap the last time I left it and probably won't be used because even my ALMOST infinite patience for knots and Entanglements have a limit.
