I was trying to fit these tall bumpers to the bottom of a metal PC case to replace the plastic feet. First I chose the tall ones and followed the instructions: I cleaned the surface with Prep Alcohol, let the surface dry and attached the "legs". The biggest legs failed miserably. They weren't stiff enough so 2 out of 4 broke after a little push on the case a few hours after they'd had time to sit down under load. They are now in the trash. With 12 left in the pack I resorted to the shortest bumpers, reluctant to risk the same fate with the mid-rise offering. They work adequately, but I cannot recommend them for this application. With all the hype about the adhesive power, I really expected more.
